Best practices with the Assistant
Introduction
You manage a large number of contracts and regulatory documents (leases, concessions, certificates, company registration extracts, etc.) on a daily basis. Formality's Assistant allows you to ask your questions in natural language and quickly obtain answers from the documents stored in your workspace, without having to reread everything.

How to get reliable answers
Be precise in your questions The clearer your request, the faster the Assistant finds the information.
“Lease”
“Show me the commercial lease signed in 2022 for the Rivoli building ”
“Supplier contract”
“Give me the elevator maintenance contract signed with Otis in 2023 ”
“Concession”
“What is the duration of the concession awarded to Vinci for the Lyon parking ? ”
“Insurance”
“Find me the latest fire insurance certificate for the Horizon Tower ”
“Company registration extract”
“Show me the extract company registration extract of our managing subsidiary of the Alpha shopping center ”
Open a new thread when you change subject Example: if you move from a commercial lease to a infrastructure concession, start a new conversation so the Assistant stays focused on the correct scope.
Check that the Assistant is actually reading the document A good answer starts with:
“Based on your question, I am now reviewing the document…”
Otherwise, rephrase by citing the specific document:
“In the document Maintenance contract – Rivoli Building, what is the initial term?”
Rephrase if the answer is vague If the answer does not satisfy you, ask the question again adding context (asset name, counterparty, year of signature, contract type...).
Current limitations
The Assistant cannot yet compare multiple documents in a single question (e.g.: putting two commercial leases side by side or comparing two energy maintenance contracts). This feature is planned. 🚀 Follow our updates to stay informed about our latest developments!
