hubspotHubSpot Integration

Give your teams real-time access to contract details directly from HubSpot!

circle-info

Only a administrator of the workspace can enable the HubSpot integration.

Prerequisites

  • Have an administrator account on Formality and HubSpot.

What does the HubSpot integration allow?

  • Real-time visibility: view key contract information (signature status, renewal dates, counterparty, etc.) without leaving HubSpot.

  • Quick association: link a HubSpot company record to a Formality counterparty in a few clicks.

  • Automatic synchronization: once linked, all documents and insights related to the contract will be accessible from the HubSpot company record.

Need to change or unlink a company from its counterparty? You can do this at any time from the same panel.

How to set up the integration

1

Enable the integration

Go to Workspace settings then open the Integrations Hub. Select HubSpot and click the Connect.

2

Choose the HubSpot account

Select the HubSpot account to connect and follow the steps to authorize the app.

3

Go to HubSpot

Open your HubSpot account and go to a Company record. Locate the Formality Card in the right sidebar.

4

Associate a counterparty

Click Associate {company name} with a counterparty then confirm by clicking Associate.

5

View the data

That's it! The Formality contract data is now displayed live in HubSpot.

What you will see in HubSpot

  • The status of contracts and key dates at a glance

  • The linked documents to the counterparty from your Formality workspace

  • A quick access to open the full document in Formality

This integration helps your teams stay better aligned, reduce back-and-forth, and react faster to important contract milestones.

Document origin

Each imported document displays a icon indicating its source :

  • 🟠 HubSpot for documents associated from a Company record,

  • 📂 Formality for a direct import on the platform,

  • 🔗 Other integrations (e.g. Outlook, DocuSign, Salesforce) depending on the connector used.
