Dynamic content

A template may contain placeholders (dynamic fields) that will be filled with existing data in Formality or entered manually.

  • Each placeholder must be defined only once per template version.

  • This configuration is technical: it is recommended to do it with the help of a CS team member.

Possible references (optional):

  • Contacts

  • Free text

Placeholders ↔ references mapping (optional):

  • Placeholders are automatically detected in the document using double braces {{ }}.

  • In the editor, each placeholder can be linked to a property (e.g. Internal Entity X.formeJur).

  • References in free text do not have associated properties.

Applicability

When creating, you can specify:

  • one or more internal entities

  • one or more types of Agreement

Update a template

  • All fields, including the file, can be modified

  • As soon as a change is made, the update date is automatically refreshed
