Yousign Integration

Benefit from efficient, reliable and compliant processes thanks to automatic deposit of your contracts and metadata validation!

Only a administrator of the workspace can enable the Yousign integration.

Prerequisites

• Have a Yousign Pro (or higher).

• Have an Yousign admin API key.

  • 👉 The key must be generated by a Yousign administrator.

  • 👉 It can then be used in Formality by a Formality administrator, even if this person is not an administrator on Yousign.

• The integration connects via a Yousign admin API key.

Content imported into Formality

• Automatic synchronization : transactions completed in Yousign are automatically imported into your linked workspace.

Do you see a contract in your Formality workspace that you don't want to keep? Simply delete it via the document ⋮ menu.

• Transaction-based integration : only transactions whose status="completed" are retrieved.

• Document details : each imported contract includes the signed document

• Multi-document transactions : if a Yousign transaction contains several signed documents, each is imported individually with its associated proof file.

• Language settings : the proof file is retrieved by default in English (EN) to ensure consistency in document extraction and tracking.

Setting up the integration

Log in to your Formality account.

Go to the Integrations Hub

Select Yousign

Connect the two accounts

Click Connect your Yousign workspace as an administrator.

Then provide your admin API key.

Validate

Once the connection is established, transactions completed during the last 24 hours are automatically imported into Formality, along with their proof files.

In case of an error, check the validity of your key or contact Yousign support.

Optional: set import rules

You can configure filters to better control document retrieval:

Block list

• Automatically exclude transactions from certain creators (e.g., tests or irrelevant repositories).

Allow list

• Limit transaction retrieval to a defined list of authorized creators.

You cannot use the block list and the allow list at the same time.

Good to know - Origin of documents

Each imported document displays a symbol indicating its source :

• 🖋 Yousign for signed documents retrieved into Formality,

• 📂 Formality for a direct import on the platform,

• 🔗 Other integrations (e.g., Outlook, HubSpot, Docusign) depending on the connector used.
