Access the Formality assistant from Microsoft Teams, ask your questions and manage your documents without switching apps!

Only a administrator of the workspace can enable the Teams integration.

Prerequisites

  • Have an active Formality account

  • Have enabled the Formality app in the Integrations Hub of your account

  • Seamless sign-in: easy authentication with your Microsoft account

How to install Formality in Microsoft Teams

  1. Open Microsoft Teams and go to the Apps

  2. Search for Formality in the search bar

  3. Click Add to install the app

  4. If you are already signed in to Formality, sign out then sign back in after installing the Teams app

  5. Otherwise, go to app.formality.comarrow-up-right and sign in by clicking on Sign in with Microsoft

  6. Once signed in, you can send your first question to the Formality Assistant directly from Teams!

This may be due to a connection issue. Here are the points to check:

  1. Sign-in via Microsoft Single Sign-On (SSO)

    • Sign in only by clicking on Sign in with Microsoft

    • Do not use the magic link, which does not properly link your account

  2. Verified email address

  • To verify your email, click on your initials at the bottom left of Formality, then open your Personal settings

  • If the address is different, contact your Customer Success Manager (CSM) to perform the update
