Connect your Microsoft environment to Formality for seamless access to your contracts and document management in your preferred Microsoft tools

Only one administrator of the workspace can enable the Microsoft integration.

Prerequisites

  • You must have an active account on both Formality and on Microsoft.

  • You must sign in via Microsoft to link your tenant to Formality.


What does the Microsoft integration allow?

  • Centralized connection point: the Microsoft tenant integration serves as a gateway for all other Microsoft integrations (Outlook, Teams, etc.).

  • Enabling Microsoft extensions: once your tenant is connected, you can enable Formality extensions for Outlook, Teams and more.

  • Secure authentication: your Microsoft tenant is linked to Formality via secure authentication protocols.

How to connect your Microsoft tenant

Open the Integrations Hub

In Formality, go to Settings > Integrations Hub.

Connect your Microsoft tenant

Find the card Microsoft Tenant and click Connect.

Authenticate

Follow the Microsoft authentication steps to securely link your tenant.

Check the connection status

Once the connection is established, the status will display Connected.

Enable Microsoft integrations

You will then be able to enable individual integrations like Outlook and Teams.

What you will be able to enable

Once your tenant is connected, you will be able to:

  • Enable the Outlook add-in integration to sync your attachments and automate the management of your contracts

  • Enable the Teams app to access the Formality Assistant directly from Teams

  • Work more efficiently with your documents across Microsoft services

This integration reduces tool switching and helps your team gain efficiency by managing contracts directly from Microsoft.
