Enrich your agreement records with fields tailored to your needs: dates, amounts, dropdown lists or text fields.

Only a administrator workspace members can add custom fields.

Why create custom fields?

Agreements already include standard fields (parties, annual value, governing law, key dates…). With custom fields, you can:

  • Track information specific to your business (e.g.: Indexation index, Internal reference, Type of guarantee)

  • Structure data for your reporting and exports

  • Make your filters and searches more precise in the contract library


How to add a custom field?

  1. Open Workspace settings

  2. Go to the Agreement Studio

  3. Click Add a custom field

  4. Choose the field type :

    • Text : free or short

    • Number : amounts, indices, coefficients

    • Date : specific due dates

    • Dropdown list : selection among several predefined options

    • Checkbox : yes/no

  5. Give a clear name to the field (e.g.: “Tacit renewal”)

  6. Save: the field will be available in all agreement records.

Best practices

  • Use explicit and standardized names (avoid overly internal abbreviations)

  • Prefer dropdown lists for repetitive values to avoid data entry errors

  • Limit the number of fields to keep records readable
